Jess Kydd (J-MAK) is an artist who grew up in Bristol, UK — a hub known for its street art and vibrant underground creative scene. Whether it was observing a building side mural or attending a punk show, Jess felt at home amongst those making independent art. From the time she was young she knew she had an affinity for creativity and would go on to spend her life honing her craft. With a heavy inspiration drawn from Gothic and Victorian era artwork, combined with an eye for astute detail, she works with precision toward the focus of the subject whilst executing each piece with a unique flair.
Having spent much of her adult life in London, Jess now predominantly resides in Pittsburgh, PA but splits her time between the US and the UK. She is open for commissions of pet portraits, greyscale originals and hyper realistic artwork.
